Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' retail grocery experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to stand for extended periods and handle manual tasks safely.
• Must adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines and obtain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Supervise Bakery Clerks and assist daily supervision of department operations.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, and product quality.
• Rotate merchandise and build attractive displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure quality.
• Provide excellent customer service and supervise bakery team.
• Unload/store deliveries and operate bakery equipment while maintaining safety rules.
