Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily department operations. You will help manage product quality, inventory and displays, while ensuring top customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires at least two years of retail grocery and supervisory experience, along with strong communication and teamwork skills to maintain safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and customer focus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take and give direction in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain department housekeeping and sanitation per guidelines.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle lifting as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in supervising Bakery Clerks and daily operations.
• Manage department merchandising for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and staff supervision.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items and ensure product integrity.
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and sanitation compliance.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and operating bakery equipment as needed.
