Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator, Bakery Ingredient Prep for our Swedesboro, NJ facility. You will support the Lead Mixer by accurately scaling, preparing, and mixing ingredients according to recipe specifications to ensure dough quality and food safety.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow written procedures, and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. 1st shift runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with weekend availability expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and dump up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, scale, and mix ingredients according to recipes, time, and temperature specifications.
• Monitor dough consistency, texture, and temperature to ensure product characteristics.
• Control ingredient usage, inventory accuracy, and lot traceability per pick lists and specifications.
• Operate Rheon Line within capacity limits to support downstream processing.
• Document mixing data and complete production/inventory records (MOVEX).
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized mixing and ingredient areas.
• Report any contamination or suspicious activity to ensure safety and quality.
