Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 1, Bakery- Ingredient for the Swedesboro, NJ bakery to join the 2nd shift. In this role you will accurately prepare, scale, and mix ingredients according to recipes, ensure dough quality, and follow GMP and food safety standards.

You will support production schedules, maintain batch records, and keep work areas clean while supporting a safe and efficient bakery operation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in a food manufacturing, production, or related environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes, specifications, and written procedures.
Basic computer and data entry skills for production documentation and inventory tracking.
Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to work safely while following GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Reliable attendance and ability to work required shift schedules.

Responsibilities

Prepare and mix ingredients according to approved recipes and production specifications.
Monitor dough characteristics to ensure consistent product quality and performance.
Manage ingredient inventory, lot traceability, and usage accuracy.
Support production efficiency by coordinating mixing activities with line requirements.
Maintain accurate production, inventory, and batch documentation.
Maintain sanitary, organized, and food‑safe work areas and equipment.
Promote food safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and contamination prevention throughout the manufacturing process.
