Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is hiring for an Operator 1, Bakery-Starter on 2nd Shift at our Swedesboro bakery. You will prepare ingredients, monitor mixing, support fermentation in starter rooms, and ensure high quality and compliant production.

We seek motivated individuals with basic manufacturing experience, ability to follow recipes, operate equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive benefits and scheduling flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School diploma or GED.
• 6+ months in manufacturing, production, or general labor.
• Ability to follow recipes and use production instructions.
• Ability to operate production equipment and process controls.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and scale ingredients per recipes and production needs.
• Operate and monitor mixing processes for quality and consistency.
• Support starter room operations for fermentation and readiness.
• Maintain production, inventory, and batch documentation.
• Coordinate mixing to support schedules and efficiency.
• Maintain sanitary, food-safe work areas and storage locations.
• Promote food safety and regulatory compliance throughout manufacturing.
