Job summary

Aspire Bakeries in Swedesboro, NJ is hiring an Operator 1, Bakery- Ingredient- 3rd Shift to support the Lead Mixer by accurately scaling, preparing, and mixing ingredients to recipe specs, ensuring dough quality and safety.

The role requires reliable attendance for a 3rd shift (10:30 pm–6:30 am) and involves using the Rheon Line, maintaining inventory records in MOVEX, and upholding GMP and sanitation standards while contributing to a teamwork-driven bakery environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food manufacturing or production.
• Ability to follow recipes and written procedures precisely.
• Ability to lift and dump up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Basic computer or data entry skills for production documentation.
• Follow GMP, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Reliable attendance for 1st shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, scale, and mix ingredients accurately according to approved recipes, time, and temperature specifications.
• Monitor dough consistency, texture, and temperature to ensure targeted product characteristics.
• Control ingredient usage, inventory accuracy, and lot traceability per pick lists and specifications.
• Operate within Rheon Line capacity limits to support efficient downstream processing.
• Document mixing data accurately and complete required production and inventory records (MOVEX).
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized mixing, ingredient, and cooler areas.
• Support food safety, quality, legality, and security by reporting potential contamination or suspicious activity immediately.
