Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator, Bakery Ingredient Prep at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. You will assist the Lead Mixer by accurately scaling, preparing, and mixing ingredients according to recipe specs, ensuring dough quality, food safety, and high product standards.

This 1st shift role runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with weekend availability required. The pay is $20.00–$21.25 per hour, plus a competitive benefits package and growth opportunities within Aspire Bakeries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or production setting preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and written procedures precisely.
• Able to lift and dump up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Basic computer or data entry skills for production records.
• Commitment to GMP, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Reliable attendance for 1st shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, scale, and mix ingredients accurately per approved recipes.
• Monitor dough consistency, texture, and temperature for target characteristics.
• Control ingredient usage, inventory accuracy, and lot traceability.
• Operate Rheon Line within capacity limits to support efficiency.
• Document mixing data and complete production records (MOVEX).
• Maintain clean, organized, sanitized mixing and storage areas.
• Report potential contamination or suspicious activity to ensure safety.
