Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is seeking an Operator, Bakery‑ Ingredient Prep for our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. You will assist the Lead Mixer by scaling, preparing, and mixing ingredients per recipe specs to ensure dough quality and safety.

Your role supports production quality and efficiency on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). Experience in a food environment, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and written procedures precisely.
• Ability to lift and dump up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Basic computer or data entry skills for production documentation.
• Ability to work safely with GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, scale, and mix ingredients accurately according to approved recipes, time, and temperature specifications.
• Monitor dough consistency, texture, and temperature to ensure product characteristics.
• Control ingredient usage, inventory accuracy, and lot traceability per pick lists.
• Operate Rheon Line capacity within limits.
• Document mixing data and maintain production/inventory records (MOVEX).
• Maintain clean and sanitized mixing, ingredient, and cooler areas.
• Support food safety, quality, legality, and security by reporting any concerns.
