Aspire Bakeries is hiring an Operator 2, Bakery-Oven - 3rd Shift for the Swedesboro, NJ bakery. You will operate proofing and baking equipment to ensure quality, safety, and production standards while maintaining clean, compliant manufacturing conditions.

The role requires basic bakery knowledge, the ability to document data accurately, and the stamina to work the night shift with weekend availability. Starting pay reflects the 3rd shift rate and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Ability to understand production process controls and adjust operations.
• Basic knowledge of dough handling or bakery production processes.
• Ability to read and document production, scale, and temperature data.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in hot environments, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor proofing and baking equipment to meet quality and production objectives.
• Inspect products and verify baking characteristics meet specifications.
• Maintain product alignment and flow through proofing, baking, and cooling systems.
• Adjust process controls to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Complete sanitation and housekeeping per company standards.
• Accurately document production records and data in systems.
• Follow food safety, GMP, Lockout/Tagout, and workplace safety requirements.
