This role requires 18+, 2 years retail grocery experience and 2 years supervisory experience, flexibility (nights/weekends/holidays), strong communication, safety compliance, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Operate department equipment and weigh/label products.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items and ensure product quality.
• Ensure excellent customer service and adherence to health/safety guidelines.
• Unload/store deliveries and operate bakery equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and sanitation policies.
