Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to join our fast-paced, customer-focused bakery team. You will assist in preparing, baking, packaging, and merchandising a variety of baked goods while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, rotating stock, weighing and labeling products, and handling orders. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is appreciated. Previous bakery experience helps, but a positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1–2 years Bakery experience.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean, sanitary bakery area.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other bakery equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure baked items are prepared, packaged, and presented well.
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment, including shelves and floors.
• Stock, rotate, and price bakery products; discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond to customer needs.
