Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist in preparing, baking and merchandising baked goods while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires a friendly demeanor, the ability to stand for long periods, and a willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

The Bakery Clerk will maintain a clean, safe workspace and support inventory processes, pricing and product rotation to ensure quality and freshness.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years bakery experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly personality with strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to take directions and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Stand for long periods and operate basic bakery equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager with preparing, baking, packaging and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level customer service and maintain clean, sanitary bakery area.
• Stock, price, rotate and discard spoiled items as needed.
• Receive, inspect and log shipments for accuracy and temperature.
• Operate knives, scales and wrapping equipment as required.
