Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years bakery experience or an acceptable education/experience
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented, while keeping the bakery area clean
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; clean shelves and floors
• Stock, fill, face, price, and rotate bakery products; discard outdated items
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with customers and team
