Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist in preparing, baking and merchandising baked goods in a fast-paced store environment. You will deliver friendly customer service, maintain clean and safe bakery areas, and help manage inventory and pricing accuracy throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent and bakery experience. This role requires standing for long periods and ability to lift up to 40 lbs; flexible schedules including

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years bakery experience or equivalent.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have friendly attitude and ability to interact with customers; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; maintain cleanliness of the Bakery area.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; clean shelves, floors, and work surfaces; remove spills.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a team-oriented store.
