Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to join our fast-paced bakery department. You will assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising a wide range of baked goods while delivering friendly, guest-focused service.

You’ll keep the bakery area clean and sanitary, handle restocking, price accuracy, and log shipments. This role requires reliability, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and excellent teamwork and communication with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years Bakery experience or equivalent
• Dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with customers; strong communication
• Ability to take direction and work in a team
• Able to answer phones and take special orders
• Maintain clean, sanitary bakery area and equipment
• Ability to stand long hours and lift up to 40 lbs as needed
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations, with Food Handlers permit

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
• Provide high level customer service and ensure products are prepared, packaged, presented, and clean
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment; clean shelves, floors, and cases
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy of temperature and quality
• Operate knives, scales and wrappers and use equipment as required
• Support fast-paced operations and teamwork in a busy bakery environment
