Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package all baked goods in a busy store environment. You will assist in baking, pricing, and merchandising while delivering high-quality customer service to shoppers.

The role requires 18+ years old with bakery experience and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Safety and cleanliness are essential in daily tasks and operations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior, have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Have good communication skills; and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure products are prepared, packaged, and presented with cleanliness.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep and sanitize surfaces.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy and rotate products; discard outdated items.
