Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure proper preparation, packaging, and presentation of Bakery items; maintain cleanliness of the Bakery area.
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary bakery area and equipment; clean shelves and floors; remove spills and debris.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; monitor rotation and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment quality, temperature and accuracy.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with team members.
