Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Colorado Springs is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package all baked goods and assist customers in a fast-paced, friendly setting. You will help the Bakery Manager with baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising while ensuring cleanliness and proper presentation.

You will provide excellent customer service, handle orders, maintain sanitation, and support product rotation. This role requires standing for long periods and adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have friendly behavior, positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication and ability to take directions in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the bakery area.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented with cleanliness.
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep and tidy shelves.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment, temperature, and quality.
