Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years bakery experience or equivalent education/experience mix.
• Dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, and able to interact with customers.
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a team.
• Able to answer phones and handle special orders.
• General housekeeping and safe, sanitary department practices.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other bakery equipment.
• Stand up to 8 hours, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain safety, health, and regulatory compliance with a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and proper presentation of bakery items.
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep floors and clean surfaces.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate stock and discard spoiled items.
• Receive and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team success.
