Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to help prepare, bake, package, and merchandise all baked goods while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and working in a fast-paced bakery setting. You're expected to maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the department and assist the Bakery Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–2 years bakery experience or an acceptable education/experience mix.
• Dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to take direction and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders, maintain cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure products are prepared, packaged, and presented properly.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; clean shelves, floors and cases.
• Rotate stock, check prices, and discard outdated items; log shipments for accuracy.
• Receive and inspect products for shipment quality and temperature.
