Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year or related work experience recommended.
• Experience in a specialized bakery or pastry role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check daily production schedules and follow Sodexo recipes to prepare baked items from scratch (bread, rolls, muffins, biscuits, cakes, pastries).
• Weigh and measure ingredients, mix doughs, shape and bake items to perfection.
• Regulate oven temperatures and monitor baking times to ensure correct temperatures and quality.
• Set up bake shop area, maintain storage, rotation, labeling, and dating of products.
• Attend to special requests and ensure high-quality items leave the kitchen.
