Sodexo at Jones College is seeking a Baker to prepare baked goods per recipes and specifications on campus. You will follow Sodexo culinary standards to deliver high-quality pastries and breads, with shifts including some weekends/holidays and varying days.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 0–1 year of related experience; bakery or pastry exposure is preferred. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, 401k, and health coverage where available.

Formación

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in a specialized bakery or pastry role preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Check daily production schedules and follow Sodexo recipes to prepare a variety of baked items from scratch (bread, rolls, muffins, biscuits, cakes, pastries).
• Weigh and measure ingredients, mix doughs and batters, shape dough, and bake items to perfection.
• Regulate oven temperatures, monitor baking times, and ensure proper temperatures for all products.
• Set up and stock the bake shop area, maintain storage, labeling, dating, and cleanliness.
• Attend to details, accommodate special requests, and ensure high-quality products leave the kitchen.
