Job summary

Paris Baguette in Georgetown, TX is seeking a hands-on Baker to join our bakery team. You will prepare and bake breads, pastries, donuts, and desserts to spec, operate ovens and mixers, and maintain a spotless, food-safe station.

This role demands early mornings, reliability, and a team-focused attitude. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of bakery production experience, knowledge of safety and sanitation practices, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• 1 year of bakery production experience or more.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and production timing.
• Familiarity with food safety, labeling, and sanitization practices.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake all bread, pastries, donuts, and desserts to spec and on schedule.
• Operate ovens, dough conditioners, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Handle prep tasks: scaling, shaping, topping, and finishing product.
• Monitor bake times, temperatures, and product appearance for consistency.
• Maintain a clean, food-safe, and well-organized back-of-house station.
• Rotate and stock ingredients, checking quality and freshness.
• Complete production logs, waste tracking, and usage sheets.
• Flag equipment or supply issues to management.
• Support the team with flexibility to meet daily goals.
• Help train new bakers in recipes and methods as needed.
