Job summary

Paris Baguette is seeking a Baker to join our fast-paced bakery team in Texas. You will be hands-on in producing bread, pastries, donuts, and desserts to spec, while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and helping meet daily goals.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of bakery production experience, familiarity with baking techniques and food safety practices, and strong teamwork and communication skills. ServSafe certification is preferred. Growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in bakery production.
• Familiarity with baking techniques, recipe execution, and production timing.
• Knowledge of food safety, labeling, and sanitization practices.
• Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake all bread, pastries, donuts, and desserts to spec and on schedule.
• Operate ovens, dough conditioners, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Handle prep tasks: scaling, shaping, topping, and finishing product.
• Monitor bake times, temperatures, and product appearance for consistency.
• Maintain a clean, food-safe, back-of-house station.
• Rotate and stock ingredients, check quality and freshness.
• Complete production logs, waste tracking, and usage sheets.
• Flag equipment or supply issues to GM.
• Support the team with flexibility to meet daily goals.
• Help train new bakers in recipes and methods.

Education

ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification (preferred)
