Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the Individual Carrier System (ICS) and Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) at JFK – Terminal One. You will lead daily operations, supervise staff and subcontractors, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement through training and performance management.

The role requires 5+ years in electro-mechanical fields and 2+ years in supervision, with a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 50% across the U.S. is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the electro-mechanical field.
• 2+ years of experience as a team leader/supervisor.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Experience in industrial, commercial construction, or material handling/conveyor systems industries.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support onsite personnel on ICS and PBB systems.
• Supervise team performance and subcontractors in daily operations.
• Attend and contribute to weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews with the Ops team and customers.
• Enforce safety plans and training requirements; participate in safety program.
• Improve operations through training and performance management.
• Maintain site policies, procedures and quality control; oversee tooling and inventory.
