Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician I to service and repair baggage handling systems and related equipment. You will work across mechanical and electrical systems, following drawings and manuals to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires five years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to train and guide junior technicians while coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Requires understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains machinery and electrical equipment per diagrams and manuals.
• Exercise safe working practices and comply with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Prepare and execute service calls, emergency maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and follow-up on work orders.
• Report service calls and equipment status to management.
• Advise on improvements to the service process and optimize subsystems.
• Analyze system performance and monitor from the control room when needed.
• Develop service tools and maintain CMMS reports and inventory records.
