Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee ICS and Passenger Boarding Bridge operations at JFK – Terminal One. You will supervise onsite personnel, manage subcontractors, and ensure adherence to safety and site policies while driving continuous improvement in daily maintenance activities.

You will lead staff through training, performance reviews, and root-cause analysis, maintaining safe work practices and quality standards in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the electro-mechanical field.
• 2+ years of experience as a team leader/supervisor.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Experience in industrial, commercial construction, or material handling/conveyor systems industries.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support onsite personnel while overseeing ICS and PBB operations.
• Supervise team performance and subcontractors; manage daily operations.
• Participate in meetings with Operations and Maintenance Manager and customers.
• Enforce health and safety plans and training requirements.
• Improve capability and capacity of operations and maintenance personnel.
• Train and lead employee performance for continuous improvement.
