Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the onsite operations of the baggage handling system at JFK–Terminal One. You will supervise the ICS and PBB teams, coordinate with the Operations and Maintenance Manager, and ensure safety, quality, and customer service goals are met.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in electro-mechanical roles, 2 years in team leadership, and strong communication in English. Travel within the U.S. may be required for onboarding and go-live support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electro-mechanical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a team leader.
• Experience with Control Systems and Networks is a plus.
• Read and write English and local language; strong communication required.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support onsite personnel on ICS and PBB operations.
• Supervise daily operation activities and subcontractors.
• Ensure health and safety plan adherence and training requirements.
• Identify issues and drive continuous improvement across the team.
• Manage labor data, performance, and shift coverage with Ops/Maintenance Manager.
