Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro is hiring Backwaiters to support restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and maintaining service stations. Training is provided, and a Food Handler’s Card may be required where applicable.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training is provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs. repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests promptly and meet requests.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate coffee, iced tea machines, and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and report issues to management.
• Follow policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating, phones, and takeout packaging.
