Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and courteously, assist with dining room cleanliness, and maintain service stations. All team members provide excellent guest service for a memorable dining experience.

No prior experience is required—training is provided. Must be at least 18, and a Food Handler’s Card may be required where applicable. Able to stand, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and ensure all requests are met.
• Monitor the expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per restaurant standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment like coffee machines and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and notify managers of concerns.
• Follow company policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones, and packaging takeout orders when necessary.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
