Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and courteously, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping service stations stocked. Training is provided and no prior experience is required.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and adherence to company policies in a fast-paced environment. Full-time and part-time hourly opportunities available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a current Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Excellent multitasking and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests promptly and courteously.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables and service areas.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment (coffee/tea machines, POS).
• Greet, seat guests, answer phones, and assist with takeout orders when needed.
• Support with beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
