Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro is hiring for a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and courteously. You will assist with dining room cleanliness, maintain service stations, and contribute to exceptional guest experiences. Training is provided and a welcoming team environment awaits.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and strong multitasking in a fast-paced setting. Eligible for benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs. repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet requests.
• Monitor expo line, assist with dine-in trays, and answer guest questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.
• Greet guests, help seating, answer phones, and assist with takeout as needed.
• Assist with beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
