Goodwill in Slidell, LA, seeks a Store Operations Supervisor to lead daily donation and production activities, directing the backroom team to move items from donation to sales floor efficiently. You will drive productivity, quality, and safety, while supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and coaching staff.

The role requires leadership experience in retail or production, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
• Background leading teams in retail, production, manufacturing, or assembly is desirable.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass MVR checks; valid license and insurance required.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power BI.
• Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily donation and production operations to meet or exceed budget while ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Supervise production employees to meet daily goals (minimum 110 garments/hour, 90% quality).
• Ensure backroom workflow is optimized for maximum production and minimal waste.
• Monitor donations processing to maximize sales and reduce waste.
• Conduct quality checks and rack counts to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
• Schedule employees to ensure adequate coverage and efficient flow from donation to sales floor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free backroom and store environment.
• Assist Store Manager in achieving sales goals and implementing contingency plans when needed.
• Coach and train staff; document coaching and development activities.
