Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is seeking a Retail Production Team Lead to oversee backroom operations, including donation intake, sorting, pricing, and material handling. You will lead a team, ensure safety, quality, and processing standards, and support store readiness and sales performance.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Ability to train and develop backroom staff in procedures.
• Ability to meet production metrics and KPIs.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Forklift certification is required or provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily backroom production operations, including donation intake, sorting, processing, pricing, and material handling.
• Provide hands-on leadership to backroom staff to meet production goals and quotas.
• Monitor workflow to ensure efficient movement of goods from intake to production.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with processing guidelines and CPSC requirements.
• Safeguard donated goods and uphold donor experience standards.
• Train and develop backroom team members on processes, safety, and daily expectations.
• Support opening/closing activities and coordinate movement of processed goods to the sales floor.
