Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House/Receiving team. You will work closely with store management, directing the back of house and merchandise flow, while building strong teams to drive results.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a discount retailer setting, with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization meet standards.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to reduce shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Direct associates and workload; uphold policies and standards.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
