Job summary

American Express is seeking a energized Sales Consultant to join our outbound telesales team in the USA. In this role you will build relationships with business owners, assess their needs and present American Express business solutions to drive new revenue.

You will manage a high-velocity pipeline, use consultative selling techniques, and work to exceed targets while following corporate selling guidelines. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and prior experience in regulated industries is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in outbound sales and cold environments is preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with business owners and decision makers.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to business owners with revenue between $500k and $10m.
• Engage with decision makers, identify needs and propose Amex business products.
• Maintain product knowledge and communicate features and benefits.
• Lead a strong sales pipeline and strive to close sales.
• Follow company selling practices and guidelines.
