Job summary

Spectrum Business is seeking an Account Executive in Michigan to drive new business, manage the sales cycle from prospecting to close, and deliver Spectrum’s communication solutions to small business clients. You’ll work within Spectrum Business’ Sales Team to expand our local footprint and ensure excellent service.

You’ll engage in needs analyses, target quotas, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure orders are fulfilled smoothly and customers stay satisfied.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field or equivalent years of experience
• 2+ years of sales experience or telecom/technical industry experience
• Experience reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to manage multiple sales and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business sales by engaging small businesses within your assigned sales territory
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to identify Spectrum Business solutions
• Achieve sales and product targets across data, phone, video and mobile services
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, presentations and closed deals using required software
• Collaborate with other business groups to ensure seamless order execution and customer service
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay current with Spectrum’s products and strategies
• Consistently simplify and enhance the customer experience through proactive communication and support
