Job summary

UniFirst First Aid + Safety, a division of UniFirst Corporation, is seeking a reliable Professional Sales Person in the Portland area to develop new business and expand accounts with 75+ employees or multi-location sites. The role offers on-the-job training, strong benefits, and a 5-day work week with two days off.

You will drive growth by selling First Aid, facility services, and safety products, while maintaining a robust pipeline and meeting quarterly targets.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Two years of business-to-business selling experience required.
• High-level selling skills including strong prospecting and closing skills.
• Knowledge and experience in sales.
• Resourcefulness.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Auto insurance requirements per company standards when using a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote First Aid products to new accounts with 75 employees or more and/or multiple locations.
• Develop new business and expand accounts focusing on first aid, facility services, and safety products.
• Meet customer needs with products that create a safe, productive workplace.
• Lead generation and prospecting to grow the pipeline.
• Organize and implement a work plan to maximize daily sales and reduce driving mileage.
• Maintain a call average aligned with company goals.
• Schedule appointments, make cold calls, and seek referrals for new business.
• Submit work orders, paperwork and expense reports as required.
• Maintain accurate paper-flow and communications with management.
