Job summary

Jensen Landscape Services in Milpitas, CA, part of Monarch Landscape Companies, seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth by partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You will develop proposals, manage client relationships, and leverage CRM data to improve profitability.

A Bachelor’s in Business or Horticulture and 5+ years of related experience, including 3+ years in B2B sales, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Horticulture.
• At least 5 years related work experience.
• At least 3 years B2B sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Interface with District Managers and Account Managers to develop, present and negotiate the portfolio of services.
• Manage opportunities through Salesforce to provide visibility of sales efforts.
• Develop contacts and prospects via cold-calling, market research, and internal lead development.
• Generate job estimates/bid proposals with scope of work and labor/materials estimates.
• Reply to client Requests for Proposal in a timely and professional manner.
• Meet or exceed established annual sales targets.
• Maintain relationships with key clients for networking and sales generation.
• Facilitate introductions between clients and operations to ensure contract fulfillment.
