Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Denver, CO seeks a Full-time Sales Associate at 555 W 48th Ave. You will drive B2B sales with a consultative approach, build new partnerships and grow existing accounts in your book of business, and promote our inventory management solutions.

You will support local sales calls, coordinate resources for customer needs, and develop relationships from leads and referrals while meeting performance goals during onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field OR equivalent customer service/industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to work with business software.
• Demonstrates strong math aptitude, organization and planning abilities.
• Evidence of a sales orientation and self-motivation.
• Adheres to Fastenal core values: ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop new relationships and grow existing ones from leads, referrals and prospecting.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Perform local sales calls using a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Contribute to branch success through additional duties as needed.
