Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Full-time Sales Associate for our Pompano Beach, FL branch. You will drive value through a consultative sales approach, develop new business, and nurture existing relationships in a local market.

The role requires customer service excellence, strong communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams while meeting performance goals. Training is provided, with potential schedule flexibility after onboarding.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Hold a valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements for using a company vehicle.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or have related work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrate aptitude for sales and customer service orientation.
• Able to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 75 lbs).
• Pass drug screen and background check as required.

Responsibilities

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads and referrals.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Perform local sales calls and, when needed, drive a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
