Job summary

Fastenal Co. is hiring a Full-time Sales Associate at the Harrison, OH location to drive customer relationships and growth of our inventory management solutions. You will engage in consultative selling, develop new partnerships, and service existing accounts from the local branch.

The role emphasizes B2B expectations, driving sales calls, and contributing to branch success, with on-site duties and potential schedule flexibility after onboarding and performance milestones.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in the US.
• Possess a valid driver's license and meet driving-record requirements for a company vehicle.
• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field OR relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficient computer skills.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs; capable of occasional heavy lifting.
• Willing to pass a required drug screen and demonstrate core values of ambition, integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Perform local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
