Job summary

Spectrum Business is seeking an Account Executive to grow our small business client base within a defined territory. You will prospect, consult, and close deals for data, phone, video and mobile solutions while leveraging Spectrum resources.

Daily field-based activities require driving, with some office time. A bachelor's degree and 2+ years in sales or telecom/tech are expected; a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience or telecom/technical industry experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business by engaging small businesses in the territory.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses and propose Spectrum Business solutions.
• Achieve sales targets across data, phone, video and mobile services.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, presentations and closed deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order execution and service.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay current on products.
• Enhance the customer experience through proactive communication and support.
