Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Donor Recruitment Associate in Business to Business Sales to engage blood drive coordinators and donor groups to reach collection targets. You will recruit on-site at drives, present to sponsoring organizations, and manage online scheduling to ensure successful blood collections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR a combination of education and work experience.
• 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs is preferred.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training and presentation skills is required.
• A current valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
• May be required to travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist account managers in ensuring blood drives achieve goal through drive management activities such as on-site recruitment, presenting to sponsor organizations, managing online appointment schedules, data entry of appointments, and recruitment table support.
• Provide oversight and record keeping in Hemasphere and OLS to ensure blood drives are properly managed and to provide tracking and statistics on sponsor group performance.
• Provide organizational and operational support to blood drive coordinators to achieve collection operation and annual goals.
• Schedule and implement education programs for sponsor contacts, recruitment committees, line volunteers and volunteer tele recruiters within assigned groups.
• Utilize tools and strategy provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency and productivity.
