Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Donor Recruitment Associate on the Donor Recruitment team. This role focuses on working with blood drive coordinators and donor groups to achieve collection targets through on-site recruitment, sponsor presentations, and scheduling.

You will help support a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 1 year in related work, strong communication, and organizational skills, with a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR a combination of education and work experience.
• 1 year of related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills recommended.
• Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist account managers in ensuring blood drives achieve goals via on-site recruitment and presentations.
• Maintain records in Hemasphere and OLS to provide tracking data.
• Provide support to blood drive coordinators to meet collection goals and regulatory requirements.
• Schedule education programs for sponsor groups to meet objectives and comply with directives.
• Utilize tools and strategies provided to enhance customer service and productivity.
