Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Donor Recruitment Associate in a fast-paced sales environment focused on blood drive recruitment with sponsor groups and volunteer networks. You will help drive blood collection targets by coordinating on-site recruitment, presenting to organizations, and managing online appointment schedules.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills are required.
• Current valid driver's license with good driving record; travel may be required across Red Cross sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist account managers in ensuring blood drives achieve goals through drive management activities (on-site recruitment, sponsor presentations, scheduling).
• Provide oversight and record keeping in Hemasphere and OLS for tracking sponsor group performance.
• Support blood drive coordinators to meet collection operations and annual goals.
• Schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contacts and recruitment committees.
• Utilize tools and technology provided to enhance customer service and productivity.
