Job summary

GFL is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support commercial and industrial clients within its Environmental Services division. You will focus on maintaining accurate account records, handling high-volume data entry, tracking customer information, and processing inquiries and service requests in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include liaising with operations, sales, and field staff, processing payments, and performing administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two to five years of customer service experience.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service via phone, email, web, or in-person.
• Handle incoming/outgoing calls and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Track customer data, enter information into system databases, and maintain account files.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and field staff to communicate instructions and resolve service issues.
• Process payments, web requests, residential subscriptions, and customer refunds.
• Perform administrative tasks including credit checks, contract scanning, and account setups/cancellations.
• Maintain an organized workspace, assist office visitors, and adhere to company policies and regulations.
