Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a Customer Service Representative to promote solid waste services to businesses by making outbound calls and handling incoming inquiries.

You will support outside sales with appointment setting, quotes, and customer tracking in a professional environment. Responsibilities include handling inquiries via phone, email, and web, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records in the Tower system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service call center experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and data-entry skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to customers via in-person, phone, email, or web.
• Coordinate with on-the-road staff to give instructions and assistance.
• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls with a courteous demeanor.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns within guidelines.
• Track customer information and enter data into the database; generate call-in work orders.
