Qualifications

• Previous experience in B2B collections, accounts receivable, or credit collections.
• Strong negotiation, dispute resolution, and customer service skills.
• Experience working with Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of B2B customer accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Contact customers regarding past-due invoices while maintaining positive business relationships.
• Resolve payment disputes, account discrepancies, and billing issues.
• Review customer credit information and support credit decisions using D&B reports and company guidelines.
• Process payments, maintain accurate account documentation, and update customer records within the ERP system.
• Partner with sales, credit, and operations teams to facilitate timely credit releases and order processing.

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a B2B Credit Collections Specialist for a respected national distribution organization.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Credit & Collections Analyst is responsible for managing business customer accounts, collecting outstanding balances, resolving payment issues, and supporting timely credit decisions. This role partners closely with customers, sales, and internal credit teams to minimize delinquent accounts while maintaining positive customer relationships. The ideal candidate is confident in B2B collections, skilled at dispute resolution, and comfortable negotiating payment commitments while delivering excellent customer service.

SCHEDULE

• Full-time temporary-to-hire
• Must be available to work 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Pacific Time, regardless of location. MUST live in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone.
