Indel Power Group in Portsmouth, VA is seeking a B2B Collections Specialist to manage commercial customer accounts and drive timely payments. You will contact customers, resolve disputes, and partner with sales and AR teams to keep accounts moving.

The role requires 2+ years in collections (preferably B2B) and 3+ years in customer service, with strong communication and negotiation skills. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a comprehensive benefits package.

• 2+ years of collections experience, preferably B2B.
• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• Experience managing customer relationships and resolving account disputes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Contract review experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct outbound collection calls and follow up on payment commitments.
• Monitor account activity and identify accounts requiring credit holds or escalation.
• Research and resolve billing, pricing, payment, and service disputes.
• Establish and monitor customer payment plans.
• Process customer payments and assist with missing or unclear remittances.
• Provide invoices, statements, contracts, and supporting documentation to customers.
• Partner with Sales, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Solutions to resolve account issues.
• Prepare delinquent accounts for outside collection agencies when necessary.
• Maintain accurate account notes, documentation, and reporting.

Indel Power Group is seeking an experienced B2B Collections Specialist to join our corporate Credit & Collections team in Portsmouth, VA. This role manages commercial customer accounts, drives timely payment, resolves billing disputes, and partners with customers and internal teams to keep accounts moving.
